On Friday, September 17, BlackRock Center for the Arts will reopen its doors for an exclusive, members-only evening featuring beautiful art and unique performances throughout our stunning space. Vaccinations and masks will be required to attend.

 

At 7:00 pm a chamber ensemble from the National String Symphonia will perform in the Kay Gallery surrounded by the exhibit “The Power of Patience”. At the same time, members can enjoy a jazz ensemble of Montgomery College alum and current students on our Rooftop Terrace led by Alvin Trask, Chair of the Performing Arts. Plus our second-floor “Quotable Quarantine” Exhibit! The evening will be capped off with a lively performance of Dupont Brass on our Main Stage.

Please note: all persons 12+ entering BlackRock's facility must show proof of vaccination and wear a mask. A negative COVID-19 test given within 3 days of the event may be substituted for religious or medical exemptions. All patrons under the age of 12 must wear a mask to enter the facility.
