String Quartet from the National String Symphonia will perform in the Kay Gallery surrounded by the exhibit “The Power of Patience”. 

MC Jazz Ensemble on our Rooftop Terrace and the “Quotable Quarantine” Exhibit will be hung in our second floor gallery. 

8 PM
MAIN EVENT- A lively performance of Dupont Brass on our MainStage.

On Friday, September 17, BlackRock Center for the Arts will reopen its doors for an exclusive, members-only evening featuring beautiful art and unique performances throughout our stunning space. Vaccinations and masks will be required to attend.

 

At 7:00 pm a chamber ensemble from the National String Symphonia will perform in the Kay Gallery surrounded by the exhibit “The Power of Patience”. At the same time, members can enjoy a jazz ensemble of Montgomery College alum and current students on our Rooftop Terrace led by Alvin Trask, Chair of the Performing Arts. Plus our second-floor “Quotable Quarantine” Exhibit! The evening will be capped off with a lively performance of Dupont Brass on our Main Stage. 

 

Join us to celebrate our reopening and the new season. Every dollar you spend at BlackRock will stay in our community as we support local artists. We invite you to become a member and invest in your hope for the future of Montgomery Arts today.

Please note: all persons 12+ entering BlackRock's facility must show proof of vaccination and wear a mask. A negative COVID-19 test given within 3 days of the event may be substituted for religious or medical exemptions. All patrons under the age of 12 must wear a mask to enter the facility. We thank you for your efforts to keep our community and families safe.
